Mr. Terry Leon Jackson, 57

Mr. Terry Leon Jackson, 57, of Hazlehurst, passed away March 16 at his residence.
Mr. Jackson was born n July 17, 1966, in Telfair County.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jordan Jackson and his father, Walter Allen Jackson.
His family called him Mr. Outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, sports of all kinds and even enjoyed playing softball. He had a big, big heart, he loved everybody and was always willing to help anyone if there was a need.
He loved Big Trucks, that’s how he made his living, was a member of Hazlehurst Church of God, he also loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, he will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, LeeAnna (Colby) Powell of Hazlehurst; sons, Gunner (Anna) Jackson of Hazlehurst and Skyler (Meghan) Jackson of Vidalia; mother, Mrs. Sarah Lee Rowell Jackson of Hazlehurst; brother, Stanley (Vicki) Jackson of Hazlehurst; granddaughters, Parker Powell, and Hollyn Powell.
Services were held March 18 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffery Spell officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with the Rev. Shon McEachin officiating.
Honorary pallbearer were Georgia Hospice, friends and family.
Active pallbearers were Colby Powell, Tracy Rowell, Gary Rowell, Daniel McNeal, Chad Sapp and Rex McNeal.
Music was rendered by the Rev. Jeffery Spell.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
