Mr. Randy Davis, 67

Mr. Randy Davis, 67, of Hazlehurst passed away Jan. 24.
Mr. Davis was born Dec. 23, 1956, to Raymond Lewis Davis and Lorine Hall Davis. He was the retired owner of Davis Construction and a retired truck driver. Mr. Davis was a successful entrepreneur and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Davis; his sister, Judy Shumans; and a nephew, Kyle Shumans.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Clark Davis; daughter, Dixie Best; son, Matthew Best; mother, Lorine Davis; brother, Kendall (Amelia) Davis; grandchildren, Dylan Best, Jamie Roberson, Loramie Hughes, Dalton Best, Layla Sheffield, and Brody Best; great-grandchild, Bentley Best; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Jan. 28 in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Ezra Varnadore officiating.
Active pallbearers were Tony New, Herman Sellers, Randy Smith, Laramie R. Hughes, Kyle Maddox, and Dylan Best.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Davis Shumans, Algena Smith, Vicky Cookwood, Ricky Varnadore, Roger Varnadore, Bruce Brock, Clyde Varnadore, John Turner, Andy Jones, Shannon New, and Carlos Delapaz.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
