Mrs. Maudrey Cain Sanders, 82

Mrs. Maudrey Cain Sanders, 82, of Hazlehurst, passed away Dec. 9 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sanders retired from Hazlehurst Mills where she was a lab technician in the Extrusion Department. She also worked in home health care for 14 years as a caregiver. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Cain, Sarah Cain Rentz, and Burton Rentz; husband, Max R. Sanders; sons, Stevie Sanders and Randy Sanders; brothers, Jack Cain, George L. Cain, Randall Cain, Dwight Cain, and Mickey Rentz; and sister, Phyllis Cain Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Sanders of Hazlehurst; sons, Darryl (Marilyn) Sanders and Marty Sanders both of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Andy (Joni) Lee, Dusty Lee, Caina Lee Johnson, Dawn Hiers Russell, Lori Sanders Wyatt, Tiffany Sanders, and Max Sanders; brothers, J. B. Rentz, Merrell Rentz, and Terry Rentz; and sisters, Hilda Bruce, Jan Jung, and Renee Rentz.
A memorial service was held Dec. 16 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Williams officiating.
Burial was in Palms Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Regency Southern Care Hospice, special cousins, Randy Rentz, and dear friends, Martha Lee and June Yawn.
