Mrs. Charlie Mae Williams, 84

Mrs. Charlie Mae Williams, 84, of Lumber City, passed away peacefully Dec. 24 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Williams was born to the late Mr. Charlie Linwood Googe and Mrs. Evelyn Farmer Googe. She worked for Suwanee Swifty for over 30 years and babysat on the side. She liked to cook, and she loved her family. Mrs. Charlie was a hard worker and longtime member of 1st United Methodist Church in Lumber City. She is preceded in death by her parents, son in law, Craig Summerlin, sisters, Martha Goodman, Minnie Bryant, Sarah Brewer and Kaye Googe.
She is survived by her son, Charles Carter (Susan) of Hazlehurst; daughter, Denise Summerlin of Lumber City; grandchildren, Anthony Carter (Jessi), Victoria Phillips (Andrew), Brian Summerlin (Kara); great-grandchildren, Baylor Carter, Charlotte Phillips, Active pallbearers were Anthony Carter, Brian Summerlin, Andrew Phillips, Michael Brewer, Larry Smith, and Ricky Mosley.
Services were held Dec. 28 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with interment at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
Music was rendered by Kara Summerlin.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
