Mr. Terry Samuel Darley, 71

Mr. Terry Samuel Darley, 71, of Hazlehurst, passed away Nov. 15 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Darley was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Bradenton, Fla., but had made Hazlehurst his home for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Perry Darley and Loretta Ann Johnson Darley and brother, Andy Darley. He was a retired truck driver with Trucks Inc. and occasionally attended Eureka Baptist Church.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed playing a good game of cards with his siblings. He was a permanent fixture at Hazlehurst Huddle House, where the waitresses tolerated his demeanor (mean). But all jokes aside they loved him.
Seriously he loved his family and friends dearly and he will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Joyce McGaha Darley of Hazlehurst; son, Wade (Vicky) Darley of Dublin; daughter, Jamie (Jay) Darley of Hazlehurst; sister, Kathy Darley of Hazlehurst; brothers, Perry R. (Sharon) Darley of Monroe, Tony (Denise) Darley of Hazlehurst and Steve Darley of Lumber City; grandchildren, Connor, Nash, Hannah, Kade and Emma; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held Nov. 17 at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Deloach, friends and family sharing old stories, playing their favorite songs, while they celebrated the life of Terry.
The Huddle House Coffee Crew served as honorary pallbearers
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
