Mrs. Wanda Spell Dominy, 72

Mrs. Wanda Spell Dominy, 72, of Hazlehurst passed away Sept. 29 at her residence with her family by her side.
Mrs. Dominy was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Jeff Davis County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyal and Inez Herrington Spell, brother Ricky Spell and nephew, Matthew Spell. She was retired from Jeff Davis County Board of Education. She previously taught at Jeff Davis Primary School and Jeff Davis Elementary School then later became the School Media Specialist. She attended First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst.
Wanda was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She was an elegant, “dressed to a T” Classy Lady… her clothes, her jewelry, and her shoes always complimented her and her bubbly personality. She enjoyed working in her yards, enjoyed reading, and especially enjoyed shopping. She loved traveling and making memories with her family.
She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert (Stump) Kelly Dominy of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Alan Cole of Tallahassee, Fla.; and many cousins.
Graveside services were held Oct. 2 in Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jeffery Spell and the Rev. Brad Waters officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
