Mr. Bobby Glenn Floyd, 61

Mr. Bobby Glenn Floyd, of Baxley, passed away Oct. 15 at his mother’s residence.
Mr. Floyd was born Aug. 29, 1962, in Appling County.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Floyd, wife, Rebecca Floyd and son, Bobby D. Floyd.
He was employed with the City of Hazlehurs. He was a hard worker, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing every chance he got. He enjoyed listening to country music, taking care of his vehicles, and loved spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Woody Bellamy of Hazlehurst; mother, Mrs. Louise Anderson Kersey of Hazlehurst; brother, Wendell G. Floyd of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, David Bellamy, Briley Floyd Bellamy, McKenize Floyd Bellamy and Jonathan Bellamy.
Services were held Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Hal Jeffcoat, the Rev. Bobby Lairsey and the Rev. Charles Carter officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were all city employees.
Active pallbearers were David Bellamy, Jonathan Bellamy, Kameron Floyd, Lee Floyd, Danny Anderson and Steve Parker.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
