XC hosts final regular season meet

The Jeff Davis cross country teams hosted the final meet of the regular season, the Three Rivers XC Classic at the trails at Towns Bluff Park.
Eleven schools participated.
The Yellow Jacket squads performed well. The Lady Jackets won the meet easily as they finished 61 points ahead of 2nd place Coffee County. The Yellow Jacket boys placed second, as they were defeated on a tie break with the winner Vidalia. The JD squads raced 8th graders in a JV race and they also performed well at the meet.
The Yellow Jacket squads will host the Region 1-AA Championship Oct. 26.
