Mrs. Patsy Brewer White, 72

Mrs. Patsy Brewer White, 72, of Hazlehurst, died Sept. 8 in St Joseph Hospital in Savannah.
Mrs. White was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Jeff Davis County.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Ivey Brewer Sr. and Hazel Brewer, brothers, Paul Brewer and Danny Brewer, and sister, Carolyn Rentz.
She was retired from Satilla Rural Electric of Hazlehurst and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Patsy was, first of all, a patient and loving wife to Roger, for 54 years, and they were inseparable. Second, a loving and understanding mother, who was always guiding and leading by example. Thirdly, a fun-loving grandmother who cherished her grandchildren.
She enjoyed fishing, growing flowers, cooking for her family, and browsing flea markets. Patsy had a great big kind heart, she loved everyone and enjoyed helping people.
Survivors include her husband, Roger L. White of Hazlehurst; son, Patrick White of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Roxie and Chuck Crosby of Hazlehurst; sisters, Peggy Latham (Gus) of Alma, Debra McNeal (Paul) of Hazlehurst, Brenda Brown (Danny) of Hazlehurst, Susie Taylor of Hazlehurst and Sharon Bridges (Wayne) of Brunswick; brothers, Ivy Brewer Jr. (Marlene) of Hazlehurst and Durrell Brewer of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Lindsey, Lexie, Chloe, Juliana, and Callie; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sept. 10 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Brazzell and Wayne Bridges officiating.
Interment followed in Graham United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Jonathan Mills, Raleigh Mills, Stacey Brewer, Jason Brewer, Chase Brown, Anthony McNeal, Austin Taylor, and Trey Wigley.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
