JDMS softball now 8-0
Jeff Davis Middle School’s softball team improved to 8-0 last week with a 15-1 win over Bleckley County and a 10-0 win over Vidalia
Against Bleckley County, Ava Bohannon had a single, two doubles and an RBI, Madison Joyce had three singles and two RBI, Jazmine Villasenor had two singles and a double, Jaqueline Villasenor had a single, a double and an RBI, Brylee Wyatt had a pair of singles, Riley Hughes had a single and an RBI, Zoey Jones drove in two runs, and Mattie Walsh and Ryleigh King both drove in a run.
Jasmine Villasenor got the win on the mound, giving up one run on three hits, walking three and striking out seven.
In the win over Vidalia, Bohhannon had a double, a triple and an RBI, Jazmine Villasenor had a single and an RBI, King had a sacrifice and two RBI, Joyce and Jones both had singles, and Wyatt had an RBI.
Jasmine Villasenor again got the win, blanking Vidalia on one hit, two walks, a hit batter and six strikeouts.
