Wrestlers Perform Well

The Jeff Davis Wrestling Team hosted the 1AA Area Traditional Tournament this weekend. The team had 12 wrestlers competing in the 6-team area.
The following placers helped the team to an Area Runner-Up finish.

Wrestlers finishing in the top four will compete at sectionals next weekend. All four JD senior wrestlers, Noah Hernandez, Deivon McMillian, Brian White and Jesse White, will continue to GHSA State sectionals.
The Yellow Jackets hosting one of the GHSA-A and one of the GHSA-AA sectional tournaments Feb. 5. There will be roughly 70 teams represented here next Saturday. The schedule and times will be posted later this week.
