Grand Jury Returns Indictments

The following indictments were filed by 2021 September Term Jeff Davis Grand Jury Feb. 18:
The State of Georgia vs. Michael Benjamin Kersey, fleeing or attempting to elude officer and possession of methamphetamine.
The State of Georgia vs. Newton Maurice Vann, aggravated assault and possession of knife during commission of a felony.
The State of Georgia vs. Candace Marissa Hardy and Lashaye Lashon Walker, burglary in the second degree and lottery ticket fraud.
The State of Georgia vs. Steven Allen Lane, burglary in the first degree.
The State of Georgia vs. Cedric Lenard Fedrick, two counts of failure to register as sex offender .
The State of Georgia vs. Larry Whitfield Jr., aggravated assault, family violence and cruelty to children in the third degree.
The State of Georgia vs. Shanice Mathis, obstruction of an officer and simple battery.
The State of Georgia vs. Josie Lynn Evans, cruelty to children in the first degree.
