Blue Team wins 14-4

Jeff Davis Middle School’s Blue Team got its season off on the right foot Monday with a 14-4, 5-inning win over visiting Dublin Middle School.
Juan Pena and Treyton Webster led a 9-hit attack with a pair of singles each, Noah Brantley and Reese Mullis both doubled, and J.T. Bryant, Ethan Baltazar, and Josh Worthington each had singles.
Mullis and Webster both had two RBI and Baltazar, Bryant, Worthington and Konner Munsayac had one RBI each. Webster added a sacrifice fly.
Dawson Moser pitched 3 2/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits, walking three and striking out 10. Mullis threw 1 1/3 innings, blanking Dublin on one hit, two walks and four strikeouts.
