The Jeff Davis Cross Country programs traveled to Cochran Oct. 7 for the 30th Annual Bleckley County Invitational. All four teams placed in the Top 5 and brought home trophies as well as many of the runners finished in the Top 25 and received a medal.
The MS Boys started the day off with a third place finish. Payten Parlor (10th) and Konnor Munsayac (16th) both placed in the Top 25 of a very strong field of runners.
The MS Girls also finished third overall. Ellie Kate Marchant (13th), Mayrani Trejo (20th), Chelsea Morales (21st), Lexi Toledo (24th), and Marley Powell (25th) also placed in the Top 25.
The high school races might have even been tougher than the middle school races.
On the boys side the team finished fourth overall, while Pierce Parlor (13th), Levi Manning (14th), Briley Reyes (15th), and Skyler Cravey (25th) all took home medals.
The HS girls finished fifth overall with Zoie Marchant (7th) and Alex Uribe (11th) taking home Top 25 medals.
