Mr. James Randall ‘Randy’ Crosby, 76
Mr. James Randall “Randy” Crosby, 76, of Keystone Heights, Fla., died July 27 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay County in Middleburg, Fla.
Mr. Crosby was born Oct. 8, 1944, in Appling County to the late Henry L. Crosby Jr. and the late Almedia Williamson Crosby. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Duval Station Baptist Church. Mr. Crosby was retired from World Fiber Technologies as the construction project manager and was a former owner of Papa’s Cabin in Hazlehurst. He was a member of Hyde Park Masonic Lodge No. 370 in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Crosby of Keystone Heights, Fla.; daughters and sons in law, Mary and Chuck Stone of Bryceville, Fla., Crystal and George Cotton of West Point and Michelle and Brian Ferdon of Live Oak, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Holly Edwards of Keystone Heights, Fla.; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Maxine Crosby of Baxley; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 30 from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Royce Hulett officiating and a eulogy by his granddaughter, Rebecca Edwards. Interment followed in Omega Cemetery with military honors and Masonic rites.
Active pallbearers were Travis Crosby, Blake Crosby, Chuck Crosby, Charlie Stone, Brian Ferdon and Timothy Ferdon.
Music was rendered by The Apostles and Kim Hall.
