Tennis teams hit the road

Jeff Davis High School’s tennis teams took it on the road last week with a matches Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday the Jackets faced off against Bulloch Academy. Both the girls and boys teams swept BA with a 5-0 win.
Thursday the Jackets hit the road to Appling County. The Yellow Jacket girls fell 0-5 to the Lady Pirates. The Yellow Jacket boys beat the pirates 3-2.
Coach Mary Katherine Kemp boasted on the play of junior Abby Hernandez and Marquez Patterson in the 1st doubles spots. Coach Allen Mims applauding the singles matches played by Cam Lewis and Lexi Girtman.
