Coppedge wins 50 free

Piedmont’s men’s and women’s swimming teams put together a dominating performance at the Pacer Invitational Feb. 7 in Raleigh, N.C.
The Lions men defeated William Peace and Greensboro in dual meet action.
Four different Lions found their way to event wins including Ross Coppedge of Hazlehurst, who won the 50-yard freestyle. His 21.85 winning time was exactly two seconds ahead of second place.
