Mr. Marcos Suárez Ramirez, 54, passed away Jan. 4.
Mr. Ramirez was born Oct. 7, 1966, in Jalpan de Serra Querétar, Mexico but has made his home in Hazlehurst for the past 30 years. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was employed by Telfair Forest Products as a loader operator.
Survivors include his children, Marcus Ramirez, Brittany Ramirez and Matthew Ramirez all of Hazlehurst and Kristen Ramirez of Denton; parents, Manuel and Ester Ramirez of Mexico; grandchildren, Maddox Brewer and Bentley Branch; sisters, Federico Ramírez, Socorro Ramírez and Ernestina Ramírez all of Mexico; brothers, Majencio Ramírez, Walterio Ramírez, Gaudencio Ramírez and Humberto Ramírez all of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews
Graveside services were held Jan. 8 at McEachin–McCormick Cemetery, Hazlehurst, with the Rev. Daniel McCall officiating.
