Mrs. Ruby Evans Renfroe, 94
Mrs. Ruby Evans Renfroe, 94, of Lumber City, died Aug. 3 at her residence.
Mrs. Renfroe was born April 6, 1926, in Wheeler County to the late Theodore Evans and the late Vienna Evans. She was a seamstress, sweet homemaker, loved growing pretty flowers and adored her grandchildren. She was a member of Lumber City Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Renfroe and several siblings.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Betty Sue and James Emory Tate of Snipesville and Jan R. and Shine Smith of Lumber City; sister, Clara Deese of Florida; grandchildren, Jamie Tate (Becky), Andy Tate (Candice), Stacy Stone (Linda Gail), Adam Smith (Dorianne), Brandi Webb, Ronnie Smith (Maura) and Matthew Smith (Misty); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Maley, Dylan, Cooper, Abigail, Gabriel, Landon, Gavin, Tyler, Lakelee, Jay, Drew, Peyton and Jaxon; special friend, Chris Clark; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Aug. 6 at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City with Terry Brown officiating.
Active pallbearers were grandsons, Jamie Tate, Andy Tate, Stacy Stone, Matthew Smith, Adam Smith and Ronnie Smith.
