Mrs. Brenda Kay Sellers Powell, 58

Mrs. Brenda Kay Sellers Powell, 58, of Hazlehurst died July 23 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
Mrs. Powell was born Sept. 15, 1961, in Telfair County.
She was a homemaker, childcare provider and member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Powell and her father, John Low Sellers.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Angel Powell of Hazlehurst; daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Matthew Rowell of Hazlehurst and Stephanie and William Causey of Hazlehurst; mother, Louise Creamer Sellers of Hazlehurst; brother, Johnny Kevin Sellers (Melanie) of Hazlehurst; brother-in-law, Timothy Powell of Lumber City; sister-in-law, Alicia Grimes (Jamey) of Helena; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held July 25 at Dodges Chapel Cemetery in Telfair County with the Rev. David Barber and the Rev. Gary Jones officiating.
