Mr. Larry Woodcock, 73

Mr. Larry Woodcock, 73, of Hazlehurst, died July 31 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia.
Mr. Woodcock was born Sept. 11, 1946, in Tattnall County to the late Harry Woodcock and the late Jewell Perkins Woodcock. He was a veteran of the United States Army, member of Jeff Davis Gideons, sales representative, and a member of the Life Time Young Farmers.
He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his grandchild, Scout Woodcock, sister, Joan Kimble and brother, Lee Woodcock.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cindy Waters Woodcock of Hazlehurst; sons and daughter-in-law, Trent Woodcock of Hazlehurst and Travis and Jessie Woodcock of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Woodcock and Chris Simmons of Hazlehurst; sister, Teresa Jordan (Tommy) of Gray; grandchildren, Leighanna Woodcock, Gage Woodcock, Piper Woodcock, Saylor Woodcock, Hayden Simmons and Hunter Simmons; great-grandchildren, Braxton Smith and Britton Smith; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with military honors were held Aug. 3 in Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Eddis Kirkland officiating.
Active pallbearers were Tommy Hillard, Reid Mobley, Raymond Padgent, Ronnie Jenkins and Lee Bass.
