Mrs. Marion McLoon Smith, 74

Mrs. Marion McLoon Smith, 74, of Hazlehurst, died July 2 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 4, 1946, in Jeff Davis County to the late James McLoon and the late Louise Beall. She retired after many years as a waitress with Courson’s Country Kitchen and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Stanley Bohannon and Andy Bohannon.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Smith of Hazlehurst; sons, Ray Cook of Hazlehurst and Barry Smith of Hazlehurst; daughter, Monica Clements (John) of Hazlehurst; brothers, Max McLoon of Lumber City and Van McLoon of Hazlehurst; sister, Ann Dixon; grandchildren, Cole Clements, Samantha Clements, Drew Cook, Stacey Bohannon, Ike Bohannon, Evan Bohannon, Gravin Bohannon, Joni Bohannon, Tanli Bohannon, Tylan Bohannon; great-grandchildren, Paislee Bohannon and Blayne Bohannon.
Graveside services were held July in Hazlehurst City Cemetery with the Rev. John Nunes and the Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.
Active pallbearers were Van McLoon, Bryan McLoon, Cole Clements, Stacy Bohannon, Bill McLoon, Drew Cook and Gravin Bohannon.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
