Mrs. Debbie Stone Horton, 65

Mrs. Debbie Stone Horton, 65, of Hazlehurst, died July 12 at her residence.
Mrs. Horton was born July 24, 1954, in Bacon County to the late Hudson Stone and the late Marion Crosby Stone. She was a homemaker and she loved taking care of her family.
She was a member of Bridgeford Church of God and was preceded in death by her brother, Wilbur Stone, niece, Renee Crosby and nephew, Ryan Crosby.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Horton of Hazlehurst; daughters, Tonya Lay of Hazlehurst, Shonda Lay of Hazlehurst and Leslie Horton (Brandon Creech) of Hazlehurst; sister, Beverly Stone Crosby (Lonnie) of Graham; brother, Ricky Stone (Ramona) of Hazlehurst; grandson, Haydon Creech; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held July 18 at 6 p.m. at the residence, 1 Yawn Cemetery Road, with the Rev. Jinker Horton and Billy Yawn officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Beecher, Troy New, Travis Mason, Martin Lay, Debbie Thigpen, Faye Rewis Crews, Susan Hendrix, Rhonda Cothern, Buddy Cothern, Paul Bennett, Joel Carver, Grady Simpson, Roscoe and Jackie Hutcheson.
