Bishop Samuel Wright Creamer, 79

Bishop Samuel Wright Creamer, 79, of Hazlehurst, died June 23 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Bishop Creamer was born March 30, 1941, in Jeff Davis County to the late George Washington Creamer and the late Mary Winnie Bryant Creamer. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills with over 29 years of service and retired pastor of Lotts Creek Church of God (23 Years), Ponderosa Community Church in Lyons (three Years), and Calvary Temple Church of God in Cuthbert (17 months). He was a member of Grace Community Church and was preceded in death by siblings, Myrtice Tucker, Edna Moody, Junior Creamer, Cecil Creamer and Willis Creamer.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Thompson Creamer of Hazlehurst; children, Samuel Dwyatt Creamer (Michile) of Lizella, Sheila Diane Creamer Carter (Danny) of Hazlehurst and Russell Eugene Creamer (Darly) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Micah Creamer, McKenzie Creamer, Candice Reynolds (Christopher), Chasady Hale (Gunner), Cruz Carter, Jasmine Creamer and Kaden Creamer; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Clarine Cannon, Louise Sellers and Lucille Flowers; brothers, George Creamer and Herman Creamer; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held June 26 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Lowery and the Rev. Gilbert Wommack officiating.
A Celebration of Life Service was held by the family June 27 at Hazlehurst Church of God with the Rev. Greg Lowery and the Rev. Nathan Grier officiating.
Music was rendered by Jennifer Cox, Carolyn Garrett, Laverne Brantley, Tina Brantley, Charles Brantley, Deirdre Greer, Kelsey Greer and the Rev. Nathan Greer.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
