Mr. Charles Albert Lanier Sharpe, 78

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Mr. Charles Albert Lanier Sharpe, 78, of Hazlehurst, who passed away June 15. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.June 20 in Lanier Cemetery in Millen.
Mr. Sharpe was born in Millen but lived in Hazlehurst for many years. He was the son of the late Henry Grady Lanier Sharpe and Lois Lavina Mathis Sharpe; and was preceded in death by brothers Moroni Sharpe, Melvin Cecil Sharpe and Billy Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was a U. S. Navy veteran and a Mason.
Survivors include sons Lane Sharpe (Cheri) of Utah, Grady Wade Sharpe (Diana) of Hazlehurst; sisters Laura Pritchett, Mildred Brue, Melba Sharpe and Margie Williams all of Bainbridge; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
