Mr. Cadel (Ricky) Harmon, 59
A celebration of life service for Mr. Cadel (Ricky) Harmon, 59, who died May 31, was recently held with the Rev. Henry Josey officiating.
Mr. Harmon, the son of the late Emma Lou Harmon and the late Hezzie Fedrick Jr. Two sisters survived him, Mary Johnson (Michael) and Wendy Gail McMillian; five brothers survived him, Denis- Brodie Harmon (Juanita), Belzie-Bodilly Harmon (Janie), Pete Harmon (Willie Clover), Henry Newton and Wallace Sanders. He attended Jeff Davis High School and had a construction trade. He attended Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church where he loved to hear old gospel singing.
Survivors include a loving ex-wife, Donna Rump Harmon; a devoted and special friend, Shawanda Kurtz and her three children; 10 sisters, Rosie Hansley (Johnnie), Lula Harmon, Zonnia McMilllian (John), all of Hazlehurst, Lizzie Harmon of Brunswick, Ruth Fredrick, Wanda Fredrick, Dorothy Hall (Johnnie), Willie Chambers, Elaine Rucker, all of Hazlehurst and Denise Wooten (Horace) of Baxley; nine brothers, Bobby Harmon, Joe-Duke Harmon (Wendy), Freddie Harmon (Veronica), Pastor Eddie Harmon (Helen), Gregory Fredrick, all of Hazlehurst, Bobby Fredrick (Elaine) of Charlotte, N.C., Michael Fredrick of Irvington, NY, Eugene Fredrick (Sandra) of Spartanburg, PA and Paul Fredrick (Rebecca) of Augusta and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jim Johnson, Matthew Harmon, Donald Walker, Joe Linzee Harmon, Albert Rump, and Anthony Rudolph.
Thornton Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
