Mrs. Linnie Sue Bohannon, 77

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Mrs. Linnie Sue Bohannon, 77, of Hazlehurst, who passed away April 26. Services were held April 28 in Liberty Community Church Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Hulett officiating.
Mrs. Bohannon was born in North Carolina but, lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County.  She was the daughter of the late Alonza Merritt and Gladys Jackson Merritt and the wife of the late Roy Jackson Bohannon and was preceded in death by a sister, Clydy Fay Sickles.  Mrs. Bohannon was a seamstress and a member of Oakland Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.
Survivors include sons Kelvin Bohannon (Denise) of Hazlehurst, Deric Jackson Bohannon (Lawanna Shipes) of Baxley and Freddie Bohannon of Elko; daughters Jacqueline Bohannon of Hazlehurst, Marsha Bohannon of Elko, Teresa Bohannon of Warner Robins; brothers Jerry Merritt and A. C. Merritt both of Hazlehurst; sister Cynthia McLoon of Hazlehurst; grandchildren Alex Cole Hughes and Chris Bohannon; several nieces and nephews.
