Mr. Curtis LaVon Osburn, 69

Mr. Curtis LaVon Osburn, 69, of Ft. Gaines, passed away May 2 at his residence. Private family graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery near Ft. Gaines with Dr. Phil Thomas officiating.
Mr. Osburn was born March 30, 1951, in Hazlehurst, the son of the late Curtis Joseph and Ozelle Williams Osburn. He was a retired accounts manager for Federal Express and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah M. Osburn, of Ft. Gaines; daughters, Darby Sha’ Browning of Dothan, Ala., Shelby Claire (Devon) Varnum of Macon and Ali Solomon Gilbert of Ft. Gaines; sons, Curtis Wade Osburn of Valdosta and Travis William Osburn of Atlanta; step-mother, Amanda Osburn; sisters, Milisa (Brandon) Parlor of Hazlehurst, Gwyn (Tommy) Hardin of Perry, Bev (Charles) Deitrick of Summerville, S.C., and Karen (Russell) Brantley of Milledgeville; brothers, Keith (Tammey) Osburn of Newnan and Kevin (Leesa) Osburn of Hazlehurst; eight grandchildren; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Lunsford Funeral Home of Cuthbert was in charge.
