Congratulations to Jeff Davis High School Spirit Cheerleaders who were State Champions at GHSA Game Day Competition. The second season competition, in partnership with Varsity Spirit, was held Feb. 22 at Columbus State University. A total of 41 teams showcased their best sideline and crowd-leading materials in the following categories: Fight Song, Band Chant and Crowd Leading. The teams scoring the highest in these three segments advanced as finalists to combine all of these areas in an additional three-minute routine. Jeff Davis Spirit cheerleaders received best of crowd leading during preliminary rounds and then went on to win the state title.
