Mr. Phillip Eugene Walters, 77

Mr. Phillip Eugene Walters, 77, of Lumber City, died Feb. 19 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Mr. Walters was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Jeff Davis County to the late Roy Eugene Walters and the late Nannie Elizabeth Causee Walters. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Lumber City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Brewer Walters of Lumber City; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Chris Hughes of Lumber City; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Belinda Walters of Lumber City; brother, Steve Walters (Audrey) of Lumber City; grandchildren, Logan Hughes, Gracey Hughes and Brook Walters; great-grandson, Paxton Walker; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 21 at Lumber City Baptist Church with the Rev. Ashley Tyree and the Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
Honorary pallbearers were all family and friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Terry Brown, Timmy Lee, Gary Webster, Jerry Nester, Bobby Brown and Buddy Brewer.
Music was rendered by Janice Brown, Martha Jane Livingston, Paulette Brown and Danny Burns.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
