Mr. Jimmy Roger Hand, 61

Mr. Jimmy Roger Hand, 61, of Hazlehurst, died Feb. 12 at his residence.
Mr. Hand was born July 6, 1958, in Jeff Davis County to the late Austin Hand Sr. and the late Etta Johns Hand.
He was a construction worker and was preceded in death by his sisters JoAnn Jeffcoat, Shirley Faye Hand Barkley, Mae Hand, and brother, Austin Hand.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Gibbs Hand of Hazlehurst; sons, Anthony Roger Hand of Florida and Austin Louie Hand of Hazlehurst; sisters, Rose Hand of Vienna and Loretta Harder of Warner Robins; brothers, Doffis Hand of Hazlehurst, Rex Hand of Statesboro, Jack Hand of Hazlehurst and Hank Hand of Reidsville.
A memorial service was held Feb. 15 at the Church of Christ with the Rev. Bobby Lairsey officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
