Mrs. Mary Dyal Medders, 60

Mrs. Mary Dyal Medders, 60, of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 29 at her residence.
Mrs. Medders was born June 21, 1959, in Duval County to the late Lester Dyal and the late Ella Wheeler Dyal. She was a manager with Walmart and is preceded in death by her son, Johnathan Edward McDonald, brothers, Buddy Dyal, B.J. Hughes, Johnny Dyal, Roger Dyal and Johnny Hughes.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Medders of Hazlehurst; daughter April McDonald of Hazlehurst; sons, Michael Ellis of Hazlehurst and Zackary Medders of Hazlehurst; step-daughters, Jennifer Woods of Hazlehurst and Tina Pompa of Lizella; sisters, Pearl Newham of Hazlehurst, Sandra Taylor of Hazlehurst, Deborah Garrett of Helena, Anita Silas of Hazlehurst; brothers, J.L. Dyal of Alabama and Tony Hughes of Lumber City; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 1 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Chancey and Donna Mullins officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Zackary Medders, Michael Ellis, Kevin Taylor, Austin Wells, Tyler Steverson, and Chris Woods.
Music was rendered by Diane Mullins.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
