Mr. Larry Linton Ray, 70

Mr. Larry Linton Ray, 70, of Denton, died Jan. 28 at his residence.
Mr. Ray was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Jeff Davis County to the late Oliver Ray and the late Opal Griffin Ray.
He was retired from Walmart and was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Ray.
Survivors include daughters, Larissa Shockey of Texas and Rebecca Dibiase of Lilburn; sisters, Christine Stanley, Deborah Norman and Penny Selph all of Denton; grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew and Daniel Shockey, Benjamin and Harper Dibiase; several nieces and nephew.
A memorial service was held Jan. 31 at Union Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Merle Webster officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
