Mr. Homer ‘Buddy’ Rentz, 82

Mr. Homer “Buddy” Rentz, 82, of Graham, died Jan. 28 at his son’s residence.
Mr. Rentz was born Dec. 18, 1937, in Jeff Davis County to the late Grady Rentz and the late Ruth Hesters Rentz.
He was a retired carpenter and was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Foskey, sisters, Betty Truett, Doris Rentz, brothers, Holt Rentz and Herman Rentz.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Hebert Rentz of Graham; sons, Tony Rentz of Graham, Timmy Rentz (DeeDee) of Graham and Terry Rentz of Hazlehurst; sisters, Joyce Rowell (Joby) and JoAnn Bass (Lee); brothers, Benny Rentz, and Don Rentz (Loney); grandchildren, Bryan Rentz (Sabrina), Neil Rentz (Mary Alice), Matthew Rentz, Kaylee Rentz, Makell Rentz; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 31 at Hazlehurst Church of God with the Rev. Robert Wigley, the Rev. John Nunes and the Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were all family and friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Ricky Stone, Ethan Rentz, Dax Rowell, Jamey Truett, Alex Rentz, and Phillip Rentz.
Music was rendered by Bobbie Jo Lynn, Winona Jowers, Donna Worth and Chris Eunce.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
