Mr. Timothy Bryant (Tim) Smith, 50

Mr. Timothy Bryant (Tim) Smith, 50, of Denton, died Jan. 19 in Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.
Mr. Smith was born Feb. 24, 1969, in Coffee County.
He was a truck driver and was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Wendell Smith, and grandparents, Kate and Hobson Smith and Ruth and W.A. Pittman.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Ernest (Drew) and Stephanie Smith of Hazlehurst; mother, Nancy Pittman Smith of Denton; brother, Wendell Smith (Debbie) of Douglas.
Services were held Jan. 23 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Van McCall officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jerry Wooten, Jerry Wooten Jr., Kelvin Wooten, Johnny Faulk, Jerry Wayne Merritt, and Tom Hutto.
Music was rendered by Angie McCall.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
