Mr. Henry Bailey Rowell, 91

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for Mr. Henry Bailey Rowell, 91, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Jan. 26. Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Bible Baptist Church.
The Rev. Manford Gilbert will officiate with burial in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rowell was born in Blackshear. He was the son of the late Jessie Rowell and Gertrude Hodge Rowell and was preceded in death by a son, Vance Henry Rowell; sisters, Viola Rowell and Ome Mae Jeffcoat; and brothers, Linton Rowell, Harvey Rowell and Ira Rowell. Mr. Rowell was a veteran of WWII having served in the United States Army and was a retired marine diesel mechanic. Mr. Rowell was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include brother, Albert Rowell of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 12:30-2 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church.
