Mrs. Jessie Mae Fordham Varnadoe, 82

Mrs. Jessie Mae Fordham Varnadoe, 82, of Lumber City, died Jan. 7 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mrs. Varnadoe was born Oct. 19, 1937, in Telfair County to the late John Prentice Fordham and the late Annie Mae Lavender Fordham. She was a business owner, homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church of Lumber City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Varnadoe, daughter Elaine Williams, brothers, Jack Fordham and Charles Fordham.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Taylor (Carl) of Hazlehurst, Susan Webster (Tommy) of Lumber City and Yvonne Ertzberger of Lumber City; sons, Mike Varnadoe (Dawn) of Lumber City and Derrick Varnadoe of Lumber City; brother, Greg Fordham of Lumber City; grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Hope Webster, Heather Graham, Jaci Varnadoe, Chris Wilcox, Craig Wilcox, Danny Smith, Molly Jeffries, and Jody Neal; several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 10 at First United Methodist Church of Lumber City with the Rev. Andy Brownley officiating and Carl Taylor giving the eulogy. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Danny Smith, Chris Wilcox, Jody Neal, Ryan Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Tuck Graham.
Music was rendered by her grandson, Ryan Taylor.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
