Mrs. Frances Wright Walker, 89

Mrs. Frances Wright Walker, 89, of Denton, died Jan. 6 at Vista Park Health and Rehab in Douglas.
Mrs. Walker was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Dodge County to the late Henry Warren Wright and the late Sally Yancey Wright. She resided in Denton for many years, was a homemaker, and a member of Denton Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hughey Dalton Walker and son, Steve Walker.
Survivors include daughters, Sue Ann (Susie) Martin (Ron) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Phyllis Walker (Di Rozier) of Middleburg, Fla.; son, Mark Walker of Denton; sister, Doris Carter of Jacksonville, Fla.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 11 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Van McCall officiating. Interment followed in Denton Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Howard Walker, Jerry Wheeler, Carol Walker, John Bookhardt, Michael Dunn and David Powell.
Active pallbearers were Justin Wright, Ronnie Martin, Joshua Martin, Joshua Dalton Martin, Kevin Willis, Wayne Hurley, Ricky Bennett, Jonathan Wright and Brian Vickers.
Music was rendered by daughter, Sue Ann Martin, Angie McCall, and Patricia and Darrell Wright.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
