Mr. Anthon ‘Buddy’ Hutto, 72

Mr. Anthon “Buddy” Hutto, 72, of Denton, died Jan. 14 at Advent Hospital in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Hutto was born Oct. 28, 1947, in Coffee County to the late Rev. Talmadge Hutto and the late Lois Bryant Hutto. He was a deacon and member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, former manager with Piggly Wiggly, and a salesman with Sarah Lee. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Teresa Hester and Yvonne Whitfield.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Smith Hutto of Denton; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Steven Wilcox of Denton and DeAnna and Garrett Miles of Hazlehurst; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Becky Hutto of Denton and the Rev. Dustin and Morgan Hutto of Hazlehurst; sisters, Dianne Troup (Jimmy) of Douglas and Wanda Medders (David) of Douglas; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 17 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Weisel officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Gene Roberts, Jerry Wooten, Anthony Harris, James Smith, John Austin, Randall Powell, Jim Girtman, and Jamie Tate.
Musicwas rendered by the congregation and Doris Wooten.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
