Jeff Davis High’s girls cross country team, coming off a Region 2-AA Championship run, moved ahead of region foe St. Vincent’s Academy in the Class AA state rankings, remaining at No. 3 while the Saints dropped to No. 5.
The Jacket boys maintained their No. 10 ranking.
Jeff Davis is one of seven Class AA schools in the state with boy girls and boys teams ranked in the top 10, joining Banks County, Union County, Oglethorpe County, Bleckley County, Armuchee and Bremen.
