Mrs. Martha Jean Chambers, 70

Services for Ms. Martha Jean Chambers, 70, who died July 2, were held July 6 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church.
Pastor Evelyn Wimbley and Bishop Albert Wimbley officiated with burial in Philadelphia Cemetery.
Ms. Chambers, daughter of the late Ira Clemons and Sula Clemons, was a proud member of Solid Rock Church of God. She was united in holy matrimony with Milton Chambers Sr. and blessed with four children. The following relatives preceded her in death; her son, Milton Chambers Jr. and sister, Gloria Vann and Elizabeth Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Sula (Roeneil) Williams of Hazlehurst; two sons, Cornelius (Calindra) Chambers and Martea Chambers, both of Hazlehurst; two brothers, Ira Lee Clemons of Graham and Iva Jean Clemons of Hazlehurst; very special friend, Pearl Hut, and a host of grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Active pallbearers were nephews.
Music was delivered by Solid Rock Praise Team and Choir.
Thornton’s Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
