Kirby is Georgia’s Class AA Player of the Year

Jeff Davis High School junior Ja’Queze Kirby was named to the AJC Class AA All-State First Team last year as a sophomore.
This year, he repeated the honor and earned even more of an accolade: He was named Class AA’s Player of the Year.
Kirby, ranked as a 3-Star small forward by Rival and 247Sports, was also named First Team All State and Class AA Junior of the Year by HoopSeen Magazine. He puts his talents on display not only as a Jeff Davis High player, but during offseason as a member of the Upward Stars travel team.
Kirby has received an offer from Georgia Southern and, according to Upward Stars, also picked up an offer from North Florida. The University of Georgia, Ole Miss and Auburn are starting to show heavy interest along with other major programs.
