Tennis Girls Seeded No. 1

Jeff Davis High School’s tennis teams traveled to Bacon County March 19 for the final region match of the regular season. The Lady Jackets won 4-1 and the boys lost a close one 2-3.
The Jeff Davis girls are seeded 1st for the region tournament with an undefeated record in region play. The boys have only lost once in the region which puts them as the second seed in Region 2AA.
March 20, the Yellow Jackets traveled to Wayne County. The boys lost 0-5. The girls won 4-1.
March 22-23, the Yellow Jackets traveled to Jekyll Island for the Golden Isle Tennis Tournament. The Yellow Jacket girls lost to Glynn Academy and Pierce County and beat Wayne County in the tournament. The Yellow Jacket boys lost to Lowndes County and Valdosta, and won against Winder-Barrow.
JDH Girls Tennis hosted the girls first round of region March 26. JDH will host Dodge home today (Wednesday) at 4 p.m.
JDH Boys Tennis will host the boys first round of region at 4 p.m. March 28.
JDMS Tennis faced Swainsboro March 21. The girls won 5-0 and the boys won 3-2. JDM faced Dublin away Monday.
