Mr. Phillip Ray Tysinger, 71

Mr. Phillip Ray Tysinger, 71, of Lumber City, died March 9 in Jeff Davis Hospital.
Mr. Tysinger was born July 26, 1947, in Whiteville, N.C., to the late Tony and Irene King Tysinger.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, landscaper and member of Lumber City Methodist Church.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Sheila Tysinger of North Myrtle Beach, S.C.; friend, Sharon Gordon of Baxley; grandchildren, Lindzey Tysinger, Christopher Tysinger, Kaitlyn Tysinger, Ryleigh Tysinger, Hunter Ward, and Nathan Ward.
Memorial services were held March 13 at 2 p.m. at Lumber City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Andy Brownlee and the Rev. Harold Hemingway officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
