Grand Jury Returns Indictments

The September Term, 2018, Jeff Davis County Grand Jury returned four indictments last week.
Nicholas Jamal McCall was indicted on a charge of sale of methamphetamine on March 21, 2018.
Christopher Trai McCall was charged with violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. The first charge was for a Feb. 26, 2018, incident and the other two were for an April 27, 2018, incident.
Arthur F. Buford was named in a six-count indictment. He faces two aggravated assault charges, a charge of criminal damage to property in the first degree, criminal damage to property in the second degree, reckless conduct and criminal trespass. He is accused of, on Oct. 26, 2018, firing a 9 mm handgun in the direction of two men, shooting the fuel tank of a vehicle while the men were in close proximity to the vehicle, shooting the vehicle multiple times resulting in damages exceeding $500, firing the handgun in the direction of an occupied residence, and damaging two walls in the residence with damages less than $500. The indictment was an update to an indictment handed down in November, 2018.
Vallorinzo Hill was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, family violence, and counts of false imprisonment, simple batter family violence and obstruction of an officers. He is accused of hitting a woman with a baseball bat and his fist, confining and detaining her without authority, grabbing and throwing her to the ground and running from a police officer.
