Jayvees win 11-1

Jeff Davis High’s jayvee baseball team rolled to an 11-1, 6-inning win over visiting Telfair County last Wednesday.
Cam Williams led JD at the plate with three singles and three RBI. Hamp Hayes had a pair of singles and an RBI, Conner Rea singled in a pair of runs, Matthew Glass had a single and an RBI, and Andrew Aycock added a single.
The Jackets used four pitchers, led by Cade Walters who threw three innings, giving up no runs on no hits, walking none and fanning four. Cole Baucom pitched an inning, giving up an unearned run on two hits, walking none and striking out two. Andrew Aycock pitched an inning, blanking Telfair on no hits, walking none and striking out two. And Dalton Sellers threw an inning, giving up no runs on no hits, walking one and striking out one.
