Jayvees Fall To Ware

Jeff Davis High’s JV baseball team fell 9-4 to Ware County Monday in Hazlehurst.
Hamp Hayes doubled and Ethan Hulett, Andrew Aycock and Cam Williams each had a single. Hulett drove in two runs and Matthew White and Matthew Glass drove in one run each. Hulett and White both had sacrifices.
White started on the mound and went four innings, giving up three runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out four. Josh Griffin took the loss. He went 1 1/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits, walking none and striking out none. Hulett pitched the last 1 2/3 innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits, walking none and striking out one.
