JDMS Gold falls 11-2

Jeff Davis Middle School’s Gold Team took it on the chin last Friday with an 11-2 loss to visiting Appling County.
The young Jackets got three hits, singles by Haydon King, Holden Ellis and Dylan Carelock.
Colby Beach pitched two innings, giving up three earned runs on five hits, walking one and striking out one. King pitched 1 1/3 innings, giving up seven runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out one.
Jonathan Bohannon pitched an inning, giving up no runs, on no hits, walking one and striking out two. Carter Wooten pitched 1 2/3 innings, giving up no runs, on no hits, walking none and striking out three.
