Dr. Sidney Johnson Announces Retirement

Dr. Sidney P. Johnson this week announced his planned retirement after serving as a family physician in Jeff Davis County for 53 years.
While Dr. Johnson’s practice in the former Goldman Hospital on Johnson Street will close Dec. 18, he will continue to see patients until that time.
In January, doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses of Medical Wellness Center of Georgia will reopen the doors to begin serving patients. Patients can pick up their records at Dr. Johnson’s office or can transfer them to Medical Wellness Center of Georgia.
For more information, see Dr. Johnson’s announcement advertisement elsewhere in this edition of the Ledger.
