Joshua Neal Bouknight, 14

Joshua Neal Bouknight, 14, of Hazlehurst, died April 198 at his residence.
Mr. Bouknight was born July 24, 2003, in Coffee County. He was a student at Jeff Davis Middle School and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Teresa Rea and Walter Bouknight.
Survivors include his parents, Michael and Rebecca Bouknight of Hazlehurst; sister, Ashlyn Bouknight of Hazlehurst; brother Ryland Watson of Hazlehurst; maternal grandparents, Bradley and Onita Watson of Hazlehurst; paternal great-grandmother, Mozelle Stanley of Newberry, S.C.; uncles, Brad Watson (Krystal) of Glenwood and Robbie Carroll (Sherry) of Douglas; aunts, Marie Duque (Tony) of Douglas and Trena Robertson of Townsend; several cousins and special friends and family.
Services were held April 22 at Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Yawn and the Rev. Alvin Merritt officiating. Interment followed in Palms Memorial Garden.
Honorary pallbearers were the faculty and staff of Jeff Davis Middle School.
Active pallbearers were Greg Kersey, Victor Worth, Brad Watson, Robbie Carroll, David Gove and Tommy Campbell.
Musical selections were rendered by the choir of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
